The Canby Utility Board of Directors approved an increase to the electric rates effective November 1, 2023. The rate adjustment will increase overall revenues by 7.5%.
The additional funds are needed to cover BPA’s BP-24 wholesale power costs and allow Canby Utility to cover costs associated with current and future projected operating expenses.
The Board held an open public hearing, on October 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at 1265 SE 3rd Avenue in Canby.
