The Canby Utility Board of Directors approved an increase to the electric rates effective November 1, 2019. The rate adjustment will increase overall revenues by 4.5%.
The additional funds are needed to cover BPA’s BP-20 wholesale power rate increase and allow Canby Utility to cover costs associated with current period operating expenses.
The Board held an open public hearing, on October 8, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., at 1265 SE 3rd Avenue in Canby.
