Canby Utility has started the process to hire a contractor to complete the Water Main Line Project for 13th Avenue and 13th Circle. We expect the work to begin in the coming weeks and expect the project to be completed by the end of June, 2019. This project is a portion of our efforts to continue serving our customers with safe and reliable drinking water. Canby Utility appreciates your patience and cooperation in supporting this effort.
Dear Canby Utility Water Customer:
In the coming weeks Canby Utility, we will be replacing the water main in front of your home. This project is a portion of our efforts to continue serving our customers with safe and reliable drinking water. This project will be performed by a contractor for Canby Utility. We understand that this may cause an inconvenience and we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation in supporting this effort This notification will also be posted on the Canby Utility website.
During construction of the new line, you may experience a minimal interruption or slightly lower pressure in your water service. These will be momentary and we will make every effort to have the least impact to your service as possible during this time.
Once work begins, it is important that we have a clear path to work. Please do not park on the street during working hours. This will impede progress and can cause delays in the completion of the project During construction, "Local Traffic Only" control signs and flagmen will be utilized in order to provide a safe work environment Steel plates will be placed over all open excavations each night
