Canby Utility’s Office is Closed for Walk-In Traffic Due to COVID-19 Concern

Canby Utility Offices and Non-Essential Services Closure

Canby Utility is taking preemptive measures to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19). Due to the concerns from the public and the warnings of the virus, Canby Utility’s offices will be closed to the public beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, until further notice, in coordination with the City of Canby.

During the closure, employees will be returning customer phone calls and responding to electric and water-related issues. Canby Utility’s answering services are available 24-hours a day and will dispatch electric and water personnel to restore outages, water main breaks, and other utility emergencies. For electric and water outages or emergencies, call (503) 266-1156.

Canby Utility will make every attempt to contact and work with customers prior to any disconnection of service for payment related issues during this time of closure. Customers should continue to make their payments electronically through our bill pay system, at our onsite payment drop box, or at the Cutsforth Thriftway payment drop off box.

We will continue to monitor Canby Utility’s services and follow the direction of the City of Canby to determine the appropriate time to resume normal open business activities. For updated information, please visit our website.
