In accordance to the Canby City Charter, Canby Utility is governed by a five member Board of Directors, who are appointed by the Mayor of Canby and confirmed by the City Council. Board members are eligible to serve two consecutive, three-year terms.
The City of Canby is now accepting applications for a new Canby Utility Board Member. The term is three years and will begin on March 1, 2019. The Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room at the main office, located at 1265 SE 3rd Avenue.
Gary has been a member of the Board since March 2013 and currently serves as the Board Chairman. His second term expires February 2019.
Walt has been a member of the Board since March 2014. His first term expires February 2020.
Jack has been a member of the Board since May 2015. His second term expires February 2021.
Todd has been a member of the Board since March 2016. His first term expires February 2019. He previously served two terms as a Board member from March 2009-May 2015.
Robert has been a member of the Board since March 2018. His first term expires February 2021.
